Our studio

StoneMind Studio was founded to deliver structured, material-led stone carving sessions for schools and organisations.

The studio works at the intersection of traditional craft, focused attention, and purposeful making.

Sessions are designed to offer a calm, physical alternative to screen-led work and conventional away days, supporting sustained engagement through real tools and natural materials.

Educational
Ethos

Stone carving requires patience, attention, and controlled force. In a culture of speed and distraction, the material sets its own pace.

StoneMind Studio’s approach is structured, scaffolded, and calm. Participants complete  physical work in a supervised environment, developing resilience and confidence through tangible achievement.

StoneMind Studio operates with full public liability insurance and comprehensive risk assessments. Sessions are delivered in accordance with safeguarding expectations and school compliance requirements.
